Police Recover N9 Million & Ammunition Left Behind by Deceased Armed Robbers from Ondo Bank Attacks


In the aftermath of the robbery incident that occurred in Ondo State last week, which claimed the lives of at least two people, police have recovered N9 million as well as ammunition from 6 of the robbers who were killed during the incident.

Vanguard reports that in addition to the N9 million recovered, “23 assorted fire arms, including 9000 rounds of ammunition, 11 dynamites, 100 magazines, ten smoke hand grenade, three steel helments, police berets and uniforms, as well as nine exotic vehicles, were recovered from the robbers.”

Police Commissioner, Isaac Eke, confirmed the news.
