APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari, has vowed to publicly declare his assets and liabilities if elected president.
He made the declaration in a document titled I pledge to Nigeria, which was obtained by Punch.
In addition to publicly declaring his assets, Buhari also stated that he would encourage political appointees in his administration to do the same.
He also promised that all his political appointees would only earn salaries and allowances as prescribed by the Revenue and Mobilisation and Fiscal Allocation Commission (RMFAC).
Buhari further pledged to work with the National Assembly and judiciary to cut down the cost of governance.
The presidential aspirant also spoke about the fate of the abducted Chibok girls, stating “My government shall act decisively on any actionable intelligence to #BringBackOurGirls.”
