"I feel like killing him if I got hold of him" - Mother of Three Murdered Children Cry

Ms Elsie Urry, mother of the three kids murdered by David McGreavy the 'Monster of Worcester' has cried out in displeasure following his release from prison. "I feel like killing him if I got hold of him," she told Victim Support when they broke the news of his release.

David, 67, had in 1973 murdered the victim's children, the oldest who was four, in their Worcester home as he impaled their butchered bodies on the fence outside.

Although, upon his release, she had been able to insist that his exclusion zone be extended, and which was imposed on him, she told newsmen that while that gives her peace of mind, it is unfair that he has been released considering the weight of his crime. According to her, other prisoners who have not committed crimes as extreme as his are still in behind bars.

David's sentence which was initially life imprisonment was later changed to "at least 20 years"; he, however, had done 46 years until his release.
