Allegedly Hired Crowd Counter Protest Against COZA Senior Pastor

In reaction to the protest by the #ChurchToo movement demanding justice for Busola Dakolo allegedly raped by the COZA senior pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo over a decade ago, a counter protest sprung up in Abuja.

Reports have it that the counter-protesters were hired by the church to stop the action of protesters, as one of the young men allegedly hired told newsmen that they were paid N10,000 each for the project. "Money is talking," he exclaimed on camera.

While Fatoyinbo yet denies the allegation, the separate protests in Lagos and Abuja have further fueled debate on the issue, especially online.

Jimi Agbaje’s Knowledge of Lagos is Limited to His Being Driven From His Home to The Airport - Governor Babatunde Fashola




Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola on Tuesday expressed his opinion that PDP governorship aspirant, Jimi Agbaje, has limited knowledge about Lagos.

Fashola made this remark in response to Agbaje’s allegations that Fashola had done nothing to revamp the slums of Lagos.

The Lagos State governor dismissed the allegations during the inauguration of the Maidan-Aina-Agiliti network of roads and bridge in the Kosofe Local Government Area, Punch reports.

Naira Appreciates at Interbank Market


The Naira, at the Interbank market, on Thursday gained 80 kobo to the dollar, the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) says.
The apex bank, in a statement in Lagos, said that the Naira closed at N185.50 from the N186.30 recorded on Wednesday.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the appreciation may be due to regular intervention at the interbank and foreign exchange markets by CBN.

Okoya ThomasPopular Lagos businessman Molade Okoya-Thomas has passed away at age 79.
According to Daily Times he held the traditional titles of the Asoju Oba of Lagos, Babasuwa of Ijebu-Remo and Odofin of Ife,until his death, and he was the Chancellor of the Lagos State University and Chairman of CFAO Nigeria Limited.

Boy Found in Tyre Compartment of Private Jet at MMIA Lagos


A male teenager suspected to be a stowaway, was found on Sunday in the tyre compartment of an aircraft at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The aircraft operated by Tag Aviation, was parked at private general aviation terminal, Execujet, Tribune reports. The pilots were conducting a routine inspection of the aircraft before starting the engine, when the boy was discovered.
