Singer Seyi Shay Signs Recording Contract With Island Records — Singer Seyi Shay took to her Instagram page to announce she signed a recording contract with Island Records UK, a division of global giants, Universal Music Group.

Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua, professionally known by her stage name Seyi Shay, is a Nigerian based English singer-songwriter, recording artist, performer, and record producer. If you are a lover and follower of Nigerian music, seyi shay is no new name.

Island Records is a major American record label that operates as a division of Universal Music Group. It was founded by Chris Blackwell, Graeme Goodall, and Leslie Kong in Jamaica and has been based in the United Kingdom since 1962.
