Veteran Nollywood actress Joke Silva has reportedly lost her mother Dr Marienne Abimbola Silva. The 89 years old died peacefully yesterday morning July 19th.
Dr Silva was the third female doctor in Nigeria but the first Nigerian female to bag a medical degree. She became an OON (Officer of the Order of the Niger) in 1979.
She’s survived by her children and grandchildren. May her soul rest in peace…Amen.
