Agila Social & Economic Carnival Presents: Benue Beauty Queens Retreat 2015

Agila Social & Economic Carnival Presents: Benue Beauty Queens Retreat 2015
It is no longer news that Benue state is rightly regarded as the food basket of Nigeria. The state can also be referred to as one of the talent and creativity centers in the country. It has produced great men and women in the entertainment industry who has put not only Nigeria but Africa as a whole on the global map.
Benue state incidentally has some of the most beautiful and hard working women in the country.
It is then not strange that beauty pageantry is one of the most prominent activities in the entertainment industry in the state.

However, its proliferation has made this sector loose its prestige, pride, respect and dignity. Infact, it is at its lowest ebb.

This disturbing situation has prompted AGILA SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CARNIVAL (organisers of FACE OF IDOMA) to take the bull by the horn by organizing a one day retreat where beauty queens and stakeholders in the industry could come together to address the ugly trend.

Eminently qualified resource persons comprising past queens who have made a difference, motivational speakers, life coaches, e.t.c such as Rev Dave Ogbole, Onyinye Okoye, Mimi Kadev, Pst Abel Uloko, Josephine Enenche, e.t.c will be on hand to speak to both present and past queens, beauty pageant organizers, queens’ managers and other stakeholders in the industry.

The aim is to restore the lost glory and dignity of beauty pageantry with a particular reference to Benue state.

The president/CEO of AGILA SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CARNIVAL (Also known as the Idoma National Carnival), Prince Edwin Ochai is determined to change the orientation and mind set of the Benue youth because youth are the future leaders of tomorrow
