Agila Social & Economic Carnival is an expression of the splendour of Idoma rich cultural tapestry,and a festivity which is not only intended to make Idoma conspicuous but to draw the world's attention to its social, economic and cultural resources that are fast depleting out of several years of neglect and require urgent conservation, promotion and development.
The platform is beyond been an annual gathering and rendezvous for traditionally distinguished carnival revelers from all over the world but is a social instrument and strategy for mobilizing capital and investment and a moment for socio-economic advancement of the people.
This takes place once every year in the month of December.
