If one of my men is killed, I shall kill 20 of them but don’t shoot first - AIG Mbu On It Again

According to a report on Premium Times, the newly posted Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2, Joseph Mbu has threatened to take the lives of 20 people if any of his men are killed unjustly during the elections. AIG Mbu made the threat at a meeting with the Ogun State Command at its Eleweran Headquarters, Abeokuta.

“If one of my men is killed, I shall kill 20 of them but don’t shoot first. If they shoot you, shoot back in self-defence. Anybody who fires you, fire him back in self-defence. We are in a critical period. We are not para-military. We must be bold and brave. Keep an eagle eye on everybody. We are authorised by the constitution to arrest before, during and after election. Our role is to ensure free, fair and violence free election.” he said

AIG Mbu has had series of issues with Governor Rotimi Amaechi when he served as Commissioner of Police in Rivers state.
