U.S. Food and Drug Administration Approves Female Viagra


The U.S. Food and Drug Administration have for the first time on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, approved a female Viagra designed to be used for the treatment of premenopausal women who lacks the desire for sex

The female Viagra will be on sale in the United states and around the globe under the brand name Addyi and will be manufactured privately by Sprout Pharmaceuticals.


Addyi will only be available through certified and specially trained health care professionals and pharmacies due to its safety issues.

Unlike the men Viagra, which affects blood flow to the penis, Addyi is meant to activate sexual impulses in the brain.
