A match which was supposed to be a friendly match between FC Barcelona and AS Roma a shameful display for a player who over the years was seen as a gentle man and role model for many on the field.
Argentine player and four times world best player of the year Lionel Messi totally went bananas on Wednesday night as he headbutted Roma's Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa .
FC Barcelona was already leading 1-0 through Neymar's strike but for what ever reason, Messi attacked the french player Yanga-Mbiwa with a headbutt before grabbing at his throat.
Although the Referee gave both players a yellow card but many have argued that Leonel Messi should have seen a straight red card.
Why did the referee not send Messi off? is it because it was between a Whitman and a black man?
would it have been the same situation if it was Mario Baloteli who did that to Suarez or Messi?
