Immediate past Speaker of Benue State House of Assembly Has been suspended


The immediate past Speaker of Benue State House of Assembly Mr. Terkimbir Ikyange has been suspended for six months for gross misconduct.
It could be recalled that the former speaker, earlier today, brought some Police Men and blocked members of the Benue State house of Assembly from gaining access into the house for the legislative business of the day under the instruction and aid of the Federal Government and the IG Of Police.
The Newly sworn in Majority Leader Of the Benue State House of Assemby, Rt. Hon. Avine Agbum moved a motion for the suspension of the former speaker shortly after the new principal officers of the house were inaugurated.
