SHOCKING: Pastor Confesses He Committed Adultery To His Congregation, Then Drops Dead

A pastor reportedly died Sunday after confessing to his congregants that he had committed adultery.

Bishop Bobby Davis of the Miracle Faith World Outreach church in Bridgeport, Connecticut, asked his congregants to stay after his sermon on March 9 so that he could ask their forgiveness for his unfaithfulness, a source said.

According to Judy Stovall, who said she witnessed the bizarre incident, emotions were apparently running high after Davis confessed his sins.

She said congregants shouted that they forgave him and told him they loved him.

"The stress of it all -- he had a heart attack," Stovall said.

Police said they've been informed about the incident and already closed the case.

"We have had numerous inquiries about a pastor who suffered a medical crisis at Miracle Faith World Outreach on Harriet Street and later died," Bridgeport Police Department spokesman Bill Kaempffer said.

"Detectives interviewed dozens of people who were present and reviewed video that was taken by a member of the church. Based on that investigation, investigators are confident that there is no criminal element."

A representative for the state Office of the Chief Medical Examiner said the cause of death is pending further review.

Neither Stovall or the church could be reached for comment on Thursday.

Davis and his wife, Christine, just celebrated their 50th anniversary together in June, according to the church's website. The two founded the church in 1967.

REVEALED: 7 Ways To Stop Snoring

You may be among the 45% of normal adults who snore at least occasionally or you likely know someone who does. He (or she) may be the brunt of jokes at family gatherings but snoring is serious business. For one, a snoring spouse often keeps the other person from a good night’s sleep, which can eventually lead to separate bedrooms. “Snoring can create real problems in a marriage,” says Daniel P. Slaughter, MD, an otolaryngologist and snoring expert at Capital Otolaryngology in Austin, Texas.
Not only is snoring a nuisance, but 75% of people who snore have obstructive sleep apnea (when breathing is disrupted during sleep or short periods), which increases the risk of developing heart
disease.
Try these natural solutions and lifestyle changes which may help you stop snoring.

1. Change Your Sleep Position.

Lying on your back makes the base of your tongue and soft palate collapse to the back wall of your throat, causing a vibrating sound during sleep. Sleeping on your side may help prevent this. “A body pillow (a full-length pillow that supports your entire body) provides an easy fix,” Slaughter says. “It enables you to maintain sleeping on your side and can make a dramatic
difference.”

Taping tennis balls to the back of your pajamas can also stop you from sleeping on your back, Chokroverty says. “Or you can recline the bed with the head up and extended, which opens up nasal airway passages and may help prevent snoring. This may cause neck pain, however.” If snoring continues regardless of the sleep position, obstructive sleep apnea may be a cause. “See a doctor in this case,” Chokroverty says.

2. Lose Weight.

Weight loss helps some people but not everyone. “Thin people snore, too,” Slaughter says.
If you’ve gained weight and started snoring and did not snore before you gained weight, weight loss may help. “If you gain weight around your neck, it squeezes the internal diameter of the
throat, making it more likely to collapse during sleep, triggering snoring,”..

3. Avoid Alcohol.

Alcohol and sedatives reduce the resting tone of the muscles in the back of your throat, making it more likely you’ll snore. “Drinking alcohol four to five hours before sleeping makes snoring worse,” Chokroverty says. “People who don’t normally snore will snore
after drinking alcohol.”

4. Practice Good Sleep Hygiene.

Poor sleep habits (also known as poor sleep “hygiene”) can have an effect similar to that of drinking alcohol, Slaughter says. Working long hours without enough sleep, for example, means
when you finally hit the sack you’re overtired. “You sleep hard and deep, and the muscles become floppier, which creates snoring,”.

5. Open Nasal Passages.

If snoring starts in your nose, keeping nasal passages open mayhelp. It allows air to move through slower, Slaughter says. “Imagine a narrow garden hose with water running through. The narrower
the hose, the faster the water rushes through.”
Your nasal passages work similarly. If your nose is clogged or narrowed due to a cold or other blockage, the fast-moving air is more likely to produce snoring. A hot shower before you go to bed can help open nasal passages. Also, keep a bottle of saltwater rinse in the shower. “Rinse your nose out with it while you’re showering to help open up passages,” Slaughter says.

6. Change Your Pillows.

Allergens in your bedroom and in your pillow may contribute to snoring. When did you last dust the overhead ceiling fan? Replace your pillows?
Dust mites accumulate in pillows and can cause allergic reactions that can lead to snoring. Allowing pets to sleep on the bed causes you to breathe in animal dander, another common irritant.
“If you feel fine during the day but obstructed at night, these things may be contributing to your snoring,” Slaughter says. Put your pillows in the air fluff cycle once every couple weeks and
replace them every six months to keep dust mites and allergens to a minimum. And keep pets out of the bedroom.

7. Stay Well Hydrated.

Drink plenty of fluids. “Secretions in your nose and soft palate become stickier when you’re dehydrated,” Slaughter says. “This can create more snoring.” According to the Institute of Medicine, healthy women should have about 11 cups of total water (from all
drinks and food) a day; men require about 16 cups.
Overall, get enough sleep, sleep on your side, avoid alcohol before bedtime and take a hot shower if nasal passages are clogged, Slaughter says. “These simple practices can make a huge
difference in reducing snoring.

Gov Suswam Escapes Death In Benue

Benue state governor, Gabriel Suswam narowly escaped death on Monday when his convoy was ambushed by suspected Fulani mercenaries who engaged his security aides in exchange of gunfire at Tee-Akanyi village in Guma local government area of the state.

Governor Suswam had alongside journalists, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Terhile Ayua, the Benue state Commissioner of Police, Adams Audu and his team, soldiers, and other security personnel embarked on an assessment tour of communities that were recently invaded by the Fulani herdsmen on Daudu-Gbajimba road.

On getting to Uikpam-Mbabai, the Governor and his team discovered that the marauders had attacked and pulled out of the community that very morning, after razing down houses, barns and beheading over thirty persons whose remains laid lifeless in several houses and huts.

Unexpectedly, the military personnel on the tour decided to pull out of the tour on the ground that they were not detailed to travel with the team to Gbajimba, but the governor continued on the trip to Gbajimba.

The convoy ran into an attack at Tse-Akenyi village where fire was still raging in several houses in the entire community, while the attackers continued with the looting of the property of their victims.

Unknowing to the entourage, the marauders had taken cover in some of the abandoned houses and while Governor Suswam alighted from his car to inspect the level of destruction in the community, heavy gunfire started raving from nearby bushes.

The gunfire sparked a duel between the security personnel on the Governors entourage and the invaders who took cover in nearby bushes, which lasted for close to one hour.

Governor Suswam was however safely smuggled into his official vehicle by his security details when the shooting subsided. He didn’t cut his journey short, but went to Gbajimba, the local government headquarters as planned, where he addressed some of the fleeing locals and displaced persons.

Speaking to the aggrieved people, Suswam lamented the spate of attacks on the people of the state by Fulani herdsmen, he assured the displaced persons that the government would not abandon them in the time of grief.

Ritualists caught after raping and removing disabled victim’s eyes

The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested three suspected ritualists who raped and mutilated a handicapped 30 year old woman. The suspects said they were sent by one Usman Sambo, a self-proclaimed herbalist who promised to give them N1 million in exchange for human eyes.

The suspects carried out their dastardly deed, attacking Zainab Mohammed as she returned from an event in the Lukshi village of Dass Local Government Area.

Bitrus Yakubu, one of the assailants said, “We don’t know what he wanted to do with the eyes, but he told us that if we bring the eye to him, he will give us N1m.

“It was as a result of such promise that we had to remove her eye. It was because of greed.

“But when we took the eye to him, he asked us to wait until he confirmed that the eye would work for the purpose it was meant for.”

The other suspect denied raping the victim, he said, “I know her very well, I couldn’t have raped her. Her mother and my mother came from the same area.”

Whilst the herbalist denied the allegations altogether.

He said, “I did not send them to bring any eye to me. I am a licensed herbalist who gives people herbs for different diseases and illnesses.

“Bitrus only came to me and told me that he had gotten a human eye and asked me if I could make a charm for him.

“I then asked him what kind of charm he wanted and he said one that would enable him disappear and reappear at any time and any place, but I told him I could not make such a charm.”

The victim said they initially tried to offer her money for her eyes.

“I know two of them who removed my eye.

“When I refused their offer, they raped me and forcefully removed my eye and tried to remove the second one, but I shouted and people came.

“When they saw people coming, they left me in a pool of blood and ran into the bush,” she said from her hospital bed.

10 Profound Signs You’re In The Wrong Relationship ·

let’s face it: When we’re newly coupled up, we tend to look at our partner — and the budding relationship itself — through a pair of proverbial rose-colored glasses.

Any flaws we detect in our partner are all too easily written off: He shies away from introducing you to his immediate family? It will happen when it happens. She has a tendency to leave dirty dishes and shoes scattered around the house? You’re neat and orderly enough for the both of you.

But once you get real about your relationship and consider it for all that it is — and all that it isn’t – there are some issues that are just too serious to overlook. Below, dating and marriage experts weigh in with 10 red flags they say should be cause for concern in any relationship.

1. You feel the need to change who you are to make your partner happy.

We all change a bit when we’re exposed to a new partner and their individual tastes — you binge-watch an entire season of “House of Cards” because your boyfriend loves it or attempt to go vegetarian for a few months because your girlfriend has been one for years (keyword: attempt). It only becomes a real issue when you feel the need to change who you are at your core to satisfy your partner, says licensed marriage and family therapist Virginia Gilbert.

“It’s a definite problem when you find yourself molding your values, opinions and even your clothing style to suit your partner,” Gilbert says. “If you edit what you say before you say it and constantly monitor how you come across because you feel like your partner is grading you, it might be time to let the relationship go.”

2. You have to defend your significant other to family and friends.

Not everyone is going to like your boyfriend or girlfriend as much as you do. But itshould worry you if there’s a general consensus among family and friends that your new love is entirely wrong for you, says M. Gary Neuman, a licensed psychotherapist and author of The Truth About Cheating: Why Men Stray and What You Can Do to Prevent It.

“When all your friends and family are uncomfortable with the relationship, it’s time to take a good look at it,” he recommends. “If you find yourself isolated from loved ones and telling yourself they just don’t know your significant other the way you do, chances are this won’t end well.”

3. Nitpicking and criticism — even if said in jest — are constants in the relationship.

He finds your hourly texts really overbearing — and tells you so repeatedly. She jokingly compares herIvy League education to the one you received at a state school, but always in a dismissive tone. If your partner’s overly critical eye is starting to affect your self-esteem, it’s time to speak up or jump ship, says relationship expert Tina Swithin.

“The criticism can even be subtle comparison put-downs, which can be delivered in a casual, passive aggressive way,” she says. “Those still can chip away at your confidence, and in the end, healthy relationships should lift you up, not bring you down.”

4. You’re always wondering what your partner is up to when you’re not around.

What Elvis sang about suspicious minds is true: You and your S.O. can’t go on together as long as you have doubts about what he or she is up to when you’re not there.

Dating coach Marina Sbrochi agrees, offering up an example to illustrate the point: “Maybe your new girlfriend keeps her phone on silent. All the time. Add that to the fact that she can only go out a couple of times a week and she prefers to text,” she says. “Knock, knock! You aren’t an investigative reporter, but you know when something smells fishy. If two plus two doesn’t add up to four, it’s time to part ways and look for a relationship that doesn’t seem like a game of Clue.”

5. Your partner makes all of the big relationship decisions.

You only get together when it’s convenient for your boyfriend and only hang out with his family and friends. You’ve been to all of your girlfriend’s work functions and friends’ parties, but have stopped inviting her to any social gathering you attend — she’s made it crystal clear she’s not interested.

Sound familiar? If your partner is calling all the shots and “you’re just following their lead, desperate for a few crumbs,” it might be time to reevaluate the relationship, Gilbert warns.

6. Your sex life is seriously lacking.

A relationship shouldn’t be all about the sex, but it needs to be somewhat about the sex, according to Sbrochi.

“If you feel like this person has all the other qualities you desire in a mate, see a sex therapist. Try some new tricks and see if you can make manufacture some chemistry,” she suggests. “Trust me, you need a sexual connection for a long-lasting relationship. You have plenty of friends, you don’t need another friend. It’s time to look for love and sex in one package.”

7. You want more “me” time — but your partner wants more “we” time.

You’re dying for some time to yourself. Meanwhile, your boyfriend is complaining about how little you see of each other. “In other words, the frequency of connecting is either too high or too low, whether it be texting, calling, or seeing each other in person,” marriage and family therapist Jane Greer explains. It’s a problem if “an amount that is mutually comfortable for both of you is never found.”

8. You feel personally responsible for your partner’s happiness.

Heed your inner red flags as soon as you start to feel like your partner relies on you — and only you — to keep them emotionally balanced, Gilbert says.

“Whether your partner is in a pit of despair or erupting in anger, he or she makes you feel that you are somehow to blame, and it’s your job to change whatever it is that you have done or said to make them feel bad,” she says. “Whatever you do or say to remedy the situation is inevitably wrong and makes your partner feel worse, which is, of course, your fault. You are always on eggshells and you feel the walls closing in on you. This kind of relationship is poison; get out ASAP.”

9. Your partner controls who you see and what you do.

This might be the biggest red flag of all, Swithin says. “If you find that your partner is controlling your time with friends or family, your finances, clothing choices or how much makeup you wear, this is something to take very seriously.”

10. You find yourself wondering if you’re in the wrong relationship.

It may sound painfully obvious, but your tendency to quiet those relationship doubts may end up being a huge regret later on, says Sbrochi. “So many times we look back on a bad relationship and only in hindsight can we really see the signs for what they really were,” she says. “But if you really think about it, you knew the whole time, you just wanted to ignore it for whatever reason. ”

Instead, be more proactive about your relationship concerns and address them with your partner — or move on before you get hurt. “Make a mental note of whatever is bothering you,” Sbrochi says. “If it happens again or you feel your inner warning lights going off (even if they are going off softly), it’s time to take a step back.”

Malaysia Airlines 'loses contact with plane carrying 239 people'

This is not good at all. A Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777-200 carrying 239 people lost contact over the South China Sea on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, raising fears that the plane might have plunged into the pacific ocean.

The plane, carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew members, lost communication two hours into the flight in Vietnam's airspace at 1.20am local time, China's official Xinhua News Agency reports.

GOOD STUFF: Davido Makes the Biggest Announcement of the Year So Far

David ‘Davido’ Adeleke has announced that he would launch his ‘Skelewu’ album on March 17, 2014, in the United Kingdom.

‘Omo Baba Olowo’ gave this hint during a live television show ‘LiveATBattersea’ which was aired around the world and anchored by Adesope Olajide.

It would be noted that this year the artiste has been on a U.K. tour, trilling his fans with his songs (pictured above).

The HKN artiste, Davido, had just released a new single this year titled ‘Aye’, in which he had to divert from the normal hip hop style of music to a rural high life genre of music. The single even got in the list of TOP-10 recommended for St. Valentine’s day.

It would be recalled that Skelewu madness started in August 2013, when Davido announced the dance contest, which was a big success and even caused ‘stampede’ on YouTube.

Are you going to buy the whole album, or will you get it by another means?

PHOTOS: Miley Cyrus Goes Gaga, Shares Lesbian Kisses With 2 Blondes

In the words of Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus has kissed a girl… and it turns out she really liked it.

After locking lips with Miss Perry at her gig last week, Little Miss Provocative Miley seems to have acquired a taste for cherry chapstick.

The 21-year-old has puckered up for not one, but two lesbian smooches in the past three days.

Following in the footsteps of Madonna and Britney, who also grabbed headlines by leaning in for a same-sexclinch, Miley kissed a friend as well as a fan – all while on camera.

On Friday night, the singer teamed up for a very raunchy snog with scandalous star Brooke Candy.

The outrageous rapper, who has gained notoriety for her foul-mouthed lyrics and hyper-sexual image, attended one of the stops of Miley's Bangerz tour after joining the same label, RCA, as the former Disney star.

And Miley took it upon herself to welcome Brooke to the label the only way she knows how – getting her tongue out.

Tattooed blonde Brooke posted a picture of herself enjoying a very steamy clinch with her doppelganger, simplycaptioning the raunchy snap with the word "Yum".

Attention-seeker Miley then shared the pic with her 17 million followers, writing: "Regram @BR00KECANDY AYYY KAYY AYYY my new label sista! Welcome to @RCA bishhhy! Happy 2 have you apart of da fam bam!"

We're sure Brooke feels warmly welcomed. But her lady-kissing shenanigans were not over yet, as Miley plucked another blonde from her audience in Las Vegas for some big-screen action.

During her performances of Adore You, the artist formerly known as Hannah Montana has been turning a kiss cam on same-sex couples in the audience, but last night mixed it up by joining in for the fun.

Miley leaned off the stage to plant a smacker on a pretty fan, with the moment being screened to the entire arena.

And the twerkaholic wanted all those not in Vegas to hear about her latest 'shocking' stunt, tweeting:"I wasn'twiping of your kiss pretty girl just your dark lipstick that was all over my face thanks for coming to the show mystery babe x".
