PREGNANCY SCANDAL: 2Face Idibia’s Management Releases Official Statement

According to a soft sell magazine – Icon Weekly,  music superstar 2Face Idibia is expecting a child with a graduate of University of Lagos named Teniola who happens to be a  “Lagos Top Banker” and also 2face's account manager.
2face management – 960 Music Group has released an official statement to clear the rumor making waves.
Read below:
A few days ago, a rumour surfaced about 2Face Idibia allegedly getting a young woman pregnant and various versions of the story have emerged since then.
2Face would like to categorically state that these stories are completely false and baseless.
The press has published this story in many versions without confirming the authenticity of the allegations. He would like to make it very clear: THERE IS NO TRUTH TO THIS STORY.
He would also like to request that the media houses that have already published this story issue retractions without any delay.
2Face does not have anything to hide and if the story were true, he would admit it and not try to lie to the public by denying it.
When striving to maintain journalistic integrity, it is important for the press to make sure that they have irrefutable evidence before publishing potentially harmful news such as this. In this case, there has been no confirmation of the authenticity of the rumor.
We do not know what the true motives are behind the peddling of such a vicious rumor, but we would like to make sure that everyone knows the truth about it.

Skales leaves E.M.E

Skales, whose real name is Raoul John Njeng-Njen has left Empire Mates Entertainment after the expiration of his contract.
skales-jj
*Skales
Unlike the squabbles that had ensued with several artistes before, during or after leaving their label, Skales had exited E.M.E as quietly as a shadow.
As at the time of this report, he has removed E.M.E badges and signatures from all of his social media pages and handles except for his Twitter wallpaper which still carries the old label.
He plans to move on with his own music label M.et.al and has re-directed all booking enquiries to new numbers and email addresses.
Sources say the contract with Skales was not renewed because the label had not been able to recoup investments made on him.
Wizkid and Skales were signed on in 2010 with Wizkid moving on to becoming an internationally selling sensation. Skales rippled through briefly with his first single ‘Komole’ which he released in 2012.
Then, there was the endless talk of an album he was working on, but that never fell through. Skales having waited for four years, had equally agreed that it was time to move on.

Must read! Chimamanda Adichie writes on the anti-gay law

Article written by award winning writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie titled 'Why can’t he just be like everyone else?'  Find it below...
I will call him Sochukwuma. A thin, smiling boy who liked to play with us girls at the university primary school in Nsukka. We were young. We knew he was different, we said, ‘he’s not like the other boys.’ But his was a benign and unquestioned difference; it was simply what it was. We did not have a name for him. We did not know the word ‘gay.’ He was Sochukwuma and he was friendly and he played oga so well that his side always won.
In secondary school, some boys in his class tried to throw Sochukwuma off a second floor balcony. They were strapping teenagers who had learned to notice, and fear, difference. They had a name for him. Homo. They mocked him because his hips swayed when he walked and his hands fluttered when he spoke. He brushed away their taunts, silently, sometimes grinning an uncomfortable grin. He must have wished that he could be what they wanted him to be. I imagine now how helplessly lonely he must have felt. The boys often asked, “Why can’t he just be like everyone else?”
Possible answers to that question include ‘because he is abnormal,’ ‘because he is a sinner, ‘because he chose the lifestyle.’ But the truest answer is ‘We don’t know.’ There is humility and humanity in accepting that there are things we simply don’t know. At the age of 8, Sochukwuma was obviously different.  It was not about sex, because it could not possibly have been – his hormones were of course not yet fully formed – but it was an awareness of himself, and other children’s awareness of him, as different. He could not have ‘chosen the lifestyle’ because he was too young to do so. And why would he – or anybody – choose to be homosexual in a world that makes life so difficult for homosexuals?
The new law that criminalizes homosexuality is popular among Nigerians. But it shows a failure of our democracy, because the mark of a true democracy is not in the rule of its majority but in the protection of its minority – otherwise mob justice would be considered democratic. The law is also unconstitutional, ambiguous, and a strange priority in a country with so many real problems. Above all else, however, it is unjust. Even if this was not a country of abysmal electricity supply where university graduates are barely literate and people die of easily-treatable causes and Boko Haram commits casual mass murders, this law would still be unjust.  We cannot be a just society unless we are able to accommodate benign difference, accept benign difference, live and let live. We may not understand homosexuality, we may find it personally abhorrent but our response cannot be to criminalize it.
A crime is a crime for a reason. A crime has victims. A crime harms society. On what basis is homosexuality a crime? Adults do no harm to society in how they love and whom they love. This is a law that will not prevent crime, but will, instead, lead to crimes of violence: there are already, in different parts of Nigeria, attacks on people ‘suspected’ of being gay. Ours is a society where men are openly affectionate with one another. Men hold hands. Men hug each other. Shall we now arrest friends who share a hotel room, or who walk side by side? How do we determine the clunky expressions in the law – ‘mutually beneficial,’ ‘directly or indirectly?’
Many Nigerians support the law because they believe the Bible condemns homosexuality. The Bible can be a basis for how we choose to live our personal lives, but it cannot be a basis for the laws we pass, not only because the holy books of different religions do not have equal significance for all Nigerians but also because the holy books are read differently by different people. The Bible, for example, also condemns fornication and adultery and divorce, but they are not crimes.
For supporters of the law, there seems to be something about homosexuality that sets it apart. A sense that it is not ‘normal.’ If we are part of a majority group, we tend to think others in minority groups are abnormal, not because they have done anything wrong, but because we have defined normal to be what we are and since they are not like us, then they are abnormal. Supporters of the law want a certain semblance of human homogeneity. But we cannot legislate into existence a world that does not exist: the truth of our human condition is that we are a diverse, multi-faceted species. The measure of our humanity lies, in part, in how we think of those different from us. We cannot – should not – have empathy only for people who are like us.
Some supporters of the law have asked – what is next, a marriage between a man and a dog?’ Or ‘have you seen animals being gay?’ (Actually, studies show that there is homosexual behavior in many species of animals.) But, quite simply, people are not dogs, and to accept the premise – that a homosexual is comparable to an animal – is inhumane. We cannot reduce the humanity of our fellow men and women because of how and who they love. Some animals eat their own kind, others desert their young. Shall we follow those examples, too?
Other supporters suggest that gay men sexually abuse little boys. But pedophilia and homosexuality are two very different things. There are men who abuse little girls, and women who abuse little boys, and we do not presume that they do it because they are heterosexuals. Child molestation is an ugly crime that is committed by both straight and gay adults (this is why it is a crime: children, by virtue of being non-adults, require protection and are unable to give sexual consent).
There has also been some nationalist posturing among supporters of the law. Homosexuality is ‘unafrican,’ they say, and we will not become like the west. The west is not exactly a homosexual haven; acts of discrimination against homosexuals are not uncommon in the US and Europe. But it is the idea of ‘unafricanness’ that is truly insidious. Sochukwuma was born of Igbo parents and had Igbo grandparents and Igbo great-grandparents. He was born a person who would romantically love other men. Many Nigerians know somebody like him. The boy who behaved like a girl. The girl who behaved like a boy. The effeminate man. The unusual woman. These were people we knew, people like us, born and raised on African soil. How then are they ‘unafrican?’
If anything, it is the passage of the law itself that is ‘unafrican.’ It goes against the values of tolerance and ‘live and let live’ that are part of many African cultures. (In 1970s Igboland, Area Scatter was a popular musician, a man who dressed like a woman, wore makeup, plaited his hair. We don’t know if he was gay – I think he was – but if he performed today, he could conceivably be sentenced to fourteen years in prison. For being who he is.) And it is informed not by a home-grown debate but by a cynically borrowed one: we turned on CNN and heard western countries debating ‘same sex marriage’ and we decided that we, too, would pass a law banning same sex marriage. Where, in Nigeria, whose constitution defines marriage as being between a man and a woman, has any homosexual asked for same-sex marriage?
This is an unjust law. It should be repealed. Throughout history, many inhumane laws have been passed, and have subsequently been repealed. Barack Obama, for example, would not be here today had his parents obeyed American laws that criminalized marriage between blacks and whites.
An acquaintance recently asked me, ‘if you support gays, how would you have been born?’ Of course, there were gay Nigerians when I was conceived. Gay people have existed as long as humans have existed. They have always been a small percentage of the human population. We don’t know why. What matters is this: Sochukwuma is a Nigerian and his existence is not a crime.

Man ‘Rapes’ Kids 4, 6 And 7

Man 'Rapes' Kids 4, 6 And 7
A 20-year-old man raped his seven-year-old niece and then targeted his neighbour’s daughters aged four and six, a court heard yesterday.
Limwell Nyathi, of Madlambuzi in Bulilima District, Zimbabwe, was not asked to plead during a brief appearance before Plumtree magistrate Livard Philimoni charged with multiple counts of rape.
According to the Chronicle, the court heard how on May 15 last year, Nyathi’s niece arrived home from school and found her uncle alone. Nyathi summoned her to his bedroom hut and raped her, threatening to kill her if she told anyone.
A week later, the court heard, Nyathi found his neighbour’s two daughters aged four and six in the company of their sister. The sister then left the juveniles in Nyathi’s care as she proceeded to fetch firewood.
Prosecutors say while Nyathi remained with the unsuspecting children, he raped them one after the other and threatened to kill them if they reported him.
Medica Tshuma said the children did not report the alleged sex attacks, which only came to light when their mothers noticed bruises on their privates while bathing them.
Police were called in and arrested Nyathi. Philimoni remanded him in custody to February 24. Meanwhile, a 35-year-old man from the same area kidnapped his four-year-old cousin on January 29 and dragged her into the bush where he raped her, prosecutors said.
Possent Moyo tried to cover up the crime by bathing her in the river, and then took her to her mother claiming her had found her wandering alone in the bush.
But the alleged victim told her mother about the abuse, leading to Moyo’s arrest. Plumtree magistrate, Gideon Ruvetsa, remanded Moyo in custody to February 18.

Man Impregnates Daughter, Claims Biblical Virgin Pregnancy

Man Impregnates Daughter, Claims Biblical Virgin Pregnancy
A 44-year-old man from Masvingo in Zimbabwe forced his two daughters aged 14 and 16 years to engage in a sexual thr*esome with him after the death of their mother and one of the girls fell pregnant.
The man (name withheld to protect the victims) told the girls he was raping them to get rid of bad luck that he alleged was plaguing the family.
He stunned the court when he said he just touched the girls’ sexual organs with his penis but never effected penetration, as part of a family tradition to cast away evil spirits.
He had a hard time trying to convince the court that his daughter fell pregnant without sex like the biblical Mary.
Masvingo magistrate Lyn-Marry Manyika found it hard to believe the girl fell pregnant “miraculously” and sentenced him to 20 years in prison for rape.
Prosecuting Joshua Mundondo told the court how between October and November last year, the man shared his bed with his two daughters, one doing Form Two and the other one in Form Four.
The man would allegedly be intimate with each of them while the other watched.
The elder daughter reported the abuse to the police when she discovered she was six weeks pregnant.
The children told the court that their father shifted to their bedroom when their mother died and he would sleep between them on their bed.
On the first night that the man slept with the girls, he caresed and forced the elder daughter to have sex with him while the younger one watched.
The girls said he threatened to kill them if they screamed. He then made it a habit to rape his children from that day.
The elder girl went to Mvuma to pursue her education and it was then, she discovered that her father had made her pregnant.

Yes, I’m Pregnant for Tuface Idibia –– Lagos Female Banker Teniola Comes Forward

While Tuface Idibia and his wife Annie are trying hard to deny the story that he has put his account officer in the family way, the lady has finally broken her silence, revealing all that happened between her and Tuface.
Her name is Teniola and she is a big girl in one of the top banks in Lagos. She said 2face has been enjoying her secretly for sometime now until the “rough play” resulted in pregnancy and he started asking her to go in for an abortion but she refused.
She said the story was leaked to the media so as to protect her life.
She decided to speak after Annie tried to defend Tuface. In the words of Teniola:
“My name is Teniola. Please I want my privacy kept secret. I just want to respond to Tuface’s denial of my pregnancy. I‘m 3.5 month pregnant for him and he is fully aware of it. His recent denial is to appease his wife and I understand that…
“Note, I didn’t receive any money from the magazine that published my story. My elder sister took my story there to draw public attention in case something bad happens to me. And I’m not really happy about it. Please I want privacy for myself and my unborn child.”
In his earlier reaction, Tuface had claimed that the story is false and that if he impregnated any lady he would be the first to tell the media. On her part, Annie Idibia said those who wrote it want to spoil her happiness.
But now that Teniola has finally come out to speak by herself, it’s believed that Tuface may decide go and do the honourable thing then keep quiet and take care of his unborn baby mama as the price of his enjoyment”.

Rihanna wins $10 million settlement after accountant's bad advice almost rendered her bankrupt

Rihanna has won a multi-million dollar settlement after she nearly went broke based on bad advice from her accountant, a source exclusively tells Page Six. of the NY post.

Rihanna, suing under her real name Robyn Fenty, sued claiming accountant Peter Gounis and the firm Berdon LLP gave her the green light to buy a $7 million Southern California house even though she was bleeding cash in 2009.

“The defendants advised Ms. Fenty by e-mail that purchasing a home in Los Angeles ‘would be a good investment’ despite knowing Ms. Fenty was experiencing financial difficulties,” wrote Rihanna’s lawyer Edward Estrada. It was claimed that she lost $9 million, leaving her with just $2 million at the end of 2009.
Rihanna’s lawyers claimed Gounis was aware the house she was buying was rotting from water and mold damage, forcing her to spend more than $1 million on improvements before selling it for nearly $2 million less than what she paid.

Rihanna fired the accountants and sued them for $35 million in 2012.

Now we are told the firm has offered the singer a settlement of more than $10 million, and papers are due to be signed this week.Reps for Rihanna, whose financial position has vastly improved recently after earning enough to put her worth at about $43 million...
